One-pedal driving
Strong regenerative braking that slows the EV to a stop when you lift off the accelerator.
One-pedal driving sets regenerative braking strong enough that lifting off the accelerator slows the car all the way to a stop. Around town you can drive almost entirely with one pedal; the brake pedal remains for hard stops.
Drivers tend to either love it or switch it off, and most EVs let you choose the regen strength. Beyond the convenience, it maximizes the energy recovered in stop-and-go traffic.
