Level 2 charging
240-volt charging, the standard home and workplace setup. Refills most EVs overnight.
Level 2 charging uses a 240-volt supply, the same kind that powers an electric dryer, delivering 7 to 11 kilowatts. It adds roughly 25 to 40 miles of range per hour and refills almost any EV overnight.
It is the standard for home and workplace charging, and it is the basis for the recharge-time figures on Trimslate. Installation usually means having an electrician add a 240-volt circuit in the garage.
